The Director-General of the APC West Africa Youth Wing, Ambassador Olatunde Igbasan, has today, September 1, 2025, passionately called on all Nigerian youths—both at home and in the diaspora—to take full responsibility in shaping the nation’s future by participating actively in the ongoing Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) registration exercise.

Speaking with a sense of urgency and commitment, Ambassador Igbasan emphasised that the PVC is not just a card but the singular instrument of power that guarantees every citizen the right to decide who governs them. He reminded the youth that their collective voice is too powerful to be ignored and that the ballot remains their strongest weapon to secure a brighter Nigeria.

“Our tomorrow will only reflect the choices we make today. No Nigerian youth should sit on the sidelines. The 2027 elections will be a defining moment for our nation, and the path to that future begins with securing your PVC now. It is your right, your duty, and your power,” he declared.

Ambassador Igbasan urged youths across communities, campuses, and professional networks to mobilise, sensitise, and ensure massive participation in the registration exercise. He also called on diaspora Nigerians to actively engage in advocacy, awareness campaigns, and available voter processes within their jurisdictions to amplify the voice of Nigerian youths worldwide.

The DG assured that the APC West Africa Youth Wing remains fully committed to championing the cause of young people, providing platforms for civic engagement, and ensuring that the youth are not just participants but decision-makers in the 2027 elections and beyond.

This is a clarion call to every Nigerian youth: Register. Collect your PVC. Protect your future.
