APC Youth Network West Africa (formerly APC Youth Wing West Africa) hereby issues this Official Statement following constitutional approval granted by the APC National Secretariat. This transition reflects structural alignment with Party provisions while preserving mission continuity.

The leadership of APC Youth Network West Africa (formerly APC Youth Wing West Africa) is pleased to formally announce the approval of our new name by the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This repositioning was undertaken in strict accordance with the Constitution of the Party and in alignment with the guidance of its leadership. Following structured engagement and constitutional review, the group has been formally realigned to accurately reflect its status as a recognized Support Group within the approved framework of our great Party.
The name APC Youth Network West Africa reflects our structured and coordinated regional network approach to youth mobilization, engagement, and strategic support for Party objectives across the West African sub-region.
Appreciation to Party Leadership
We extend our profound appreciation to:
- Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, for his guidance, leadership, and statesmanship throughout this repositioning process.
- Dr. Ajibola Basiru, APC National Secretary, for his institutional support and cooperation.
- Mr. Dayo Israel, APC National Youth Leader, for his continued encouragement of structured youth engagement within the Party.
- Mr. Ayoola Olajolo, Director of Administration, APC National Secretariat, for his administrative coordination and professionalism.
- Alh. Salisu Yahaya Alfa, Head of Support Group/Mobilization, for facilitating our recognition and constitutional alignment.
