On behalf of the APC Youth Wing – West African Chapter, I extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies to Anthony Joshua following the tragic road accident he was involved in on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, Nigeria.
We are relieved to learn that Anthony Joshua is currently in stable condition and receiving medical care. At the same time, we mourn the painful loss of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in this incident, and we extend our sincere condolences to their families, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
This unfortunate event is a sobering reminder of the fragility of life. Anthony Joshua remains a source of inspiration to millions across Africa and the world — not only for his achievements in sport, but for his humility, strength, and resilience beyond the ring.
In this moment of reflection, we stand with him in solidarity and prayer, trusting in his strength and wishing him a full and steady recovery. May God grant comfort to the bereaved families and eternal rest to the departed.
